the annual Tanner Webb “Dedication & Determination” Student-Athlete Scholarship is posted and ready for 2025-2026 student‑athlete seniors at New Bern High School to apply!

Five $1,000 college scholarships will be awarded to select senior student-athletes from New Bern High School. Each award must be used for college-related expenses (tuition, books, transportation). Awards are not transferable to other students.

Applications must be submitted by April 10, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through April 10. Recipients will be selected and announced by April 18.

Scholarship Eligibility

Successful applicants must be able to say “Yes” to all of the following:

are you a full-time student attending New Bern High School?

Do you exemplify “Dedication & Determination” and demonstrate leadership, excellence of character, integrity, and community involvement?

Do you have a 3.30 or higher gPA on a 4.0 scale?

Do YOU agree to only use the scholarship for school-related expenses?

Are you a varsity athlete this YEAR?
